Our Work
We are a new nonprofit organization, and our work will continue to evolve in the coming months/years. Below are a few of the programmatic work we've undertaken since our launch.
Language Program
In January 2024, we launched a 12-week English Language Program to provide for individuals with little or no prior knowledge of the English language. In this program, students learn the fundamental skills of the English language. This includes grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening comprehension. Instructors use various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and activities, to help students learn and practice English.

Health Initiatives
We know that the need for access to health care is important for our community. As a center, we are committed to providing programs that support our community's healthcare needs, from utilizing our volunteer nurses to provide free medical consultations, screenings, and transportation services to doctors' appointments to partnering with healthcare organizations to provide other services (lab tests, early prevention screenings, etc.). Resource Forums
As a community center, we aim to ensure every community member knows the resources to support their well-being. Our educational and resource forums include a variety of topics from housing, health, education, financial stability, community engagement, and advocacy. In March 2024, we hosted our first educational workshop on housing, where we partnered with housing leaders to inform community members of available housing resources that may support them if they or someone they know is at risk of homelessness or housing instability.
Community Engagement and Outreach
We continue to work to engage and reach out to all community members in need of support or who may want to partner on projects. Contact us for more information.
